Privacy Policy

Information the game handles

• Local progress and choices. Progress, settings, your advertising preference, and the birth year entered at first launch are stored on your device. The game uses the birth year for age-related protections; it does not send that birth year to our online game services.
• Online player identity. Unity Authentication creates a player ID when you connect to online features. Guest play does not require your name or email. This ID identifies a game profile and is not fully anonymous: optional Unity sign-in can link it to an account.
• Cloud saves and online game records. Unity services store progress backups, game profiles, balances, purchase entitlements, PvP results and ranks, and records used to grant rewards and prevent fraud.
• Multiplayer information. Other players in your lobby can see your racer name, car appearance, profile cosmetics, and relevant game statistics. The game uses emotes rather than free-text chat.
• Optional sign-in. If you choose Unity Player Accounts, Unity processes your account details, including the sign-in email. The game receives the information needed to link or authenticate your player profile. We do not receive your Unity account password.
• Purchases. Store receipts, transaction or order identifiers, purchased items, and purchase status are processed to verify purchases, grant items, restore entitlements, and handle refunds. Google Play or Apple processes your payment details; we do not receive your payment-card number.
• Technical and advertising information. Unity and the providers used for online services, purchases, and ads can process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, device and app information, identifiers, service errors, and ad requests or interactions. The information involved depends on the service, your privacy choices, age-related protections, and device settings.
• Support messages. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any player ID, receipt, or other details you choose to include. Please send only what is needed for your request.

How information is used

We use this information to run the game and multiplayer features, save and restore progress, verify purchases and rewards, prevent cheating and duplicate purchase claims, resolve problems, respond to support and privacy requests, and meet applicable legal obligations. Advertising providers use the information described below to deliver and measure ads and prevent advertising fraud.

Advertising and your choices

Planet Racer uses Unity LevelPlay and its advertising providers. Ads are offered for in-game benefits when you choose an ad-supported action. Placements can include rewarded video or short, skippable ads.

Advertising providers may process advertising or other device identifiers, IP addresses, device information, and ad interactions to deliver and measure ads. Where enabled and permitted, these providers may also use information for personalized advertising. Non-personalized ads can still involve technical data needed to deliver, measure, and secure the ad.

You can change the game's PERSONALIZED ADS choice in Menu → ACCOUNT & CLOUD SAVE. Your device's advertising and privacy controls can provide additional choices. Players treated as children have personalized advertising disabled in the game.

Children and age-related protections

The game asks for a birth year without preselecting an answer. Because a birth year does not give an exact age, it treats players who may be under 13 conservatively. Their birth year stays on the device.

For these players, the game does not offer optional Unity account sign-in and requests child-directed, non-personalized advertising with advertising-ID collection disabled through the ad service's privacy settings. Online services and advertising providers may still process player IDs, game data, and limited technical information needed to operate these features and prevent fraud.

A parent or guardian can contact njkaminsky@illimite.us to ask about, review, or request deletion of a child's game data. Include the player ID if available so we can locate the profile. We may need to verify the request before releasing or deleting information.

Service providers and sharing

Information is processed by:

• Unity Technologies and its affiliates for authentication, optional player accounts, cloud saves, server functions, multiplayer, and LevelPlay advertising.
• Advertising providers used through LevelPlay for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. The current game integration includes Unity Ads.
• Google Play and Apple for store purchases, receipts, and refunds on their respective platforms.
• Our email provider to receive and respond to messages you send us.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Advertising providers may process information for their own advertising purposes under their policies and the privacy choices that apply. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the game and its players.

See Unity's game-player privacy policy, Google's privacy policy, and Apple's privacy policy for their practices and additional choices. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Retention and deletion

Local progress and settings remain until you reset or remove the local game data. Removing the app does not delete an online profile or cloud save, and device backups may retain a copy.

Online game data is retained while your game profile exists. Account deletion removes the game's online identity, cloud backup, and game profile records. A separate purchase-claims record, including the store order identifier and former player ID, is retained after deletion to prevent a purchase being claimed again on another profile. That record currently has no automatic expiration.

Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request, follow up on disputes, and meet legal obligations. Service providers may retain their own records under their policies.

To delete your game account, open Menu → ACCOUNT & CLOUD SAVE → DELETE ACCOUNT. An internet connection is required if you have an online account. You can also request deletion by email; see Delete your Planet Racer account.

Deleting the game's account does not delete a separate Unity Player Account, your Google or Apple account, or the stores' transaction records. Purchases are not refunded by account deletion.

Other privacy requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to or restrict certain uses. Email njkaminsky@illimite.us with your request and player ID if available. We may verify your identity to protect your information. Security

Online game services use encrypted connections. We use service access controls and server-side checks for purchases and important online balances. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Policy updates

We will update this page and the date above when our practices change. Where additional notice or consent is required, we will provide it.
